Another Quick Update
OK, so I'm heading to Byron Bay right now to hang out with Ashley and her Dad in a campground for a couple days, then I think I'm going to stay in Byron for a while. There should be lots of places for me to work, abd it looks like a fun place to stay anyways, lots of beaches and such. Brisbane, right now, looks like an interesting place as well, being a smaller city than Sydney (about 1.5m people, as opposed to 4.5m, you see). I may come back here for a while, I'm not quite sure what I'll do. We'll see how Byron treats me.
Oh yes, my camera is no longer functioning so, sadly, that means no new pictures, and very few pictures of Heron Island as of right now, until I get it fixed, or just buy a new one.
On a lighter note, I have yet to be diagnosed with Syphilis, so I've got that going for me...
Abd I promise my future posts won't be quite as serious toned, or downright depressing. Boobies! See? :)

Glad to hear that your humor is back and you seem a lot more upbeat. You went to Aus for adventure and you certainly have been receiving it. With your camera not functioning, you will have to find some gift shops and pick up some postcards with pictures of your surroundings. I am sure that will rattle the old memory bank when you look back on them many years from now.
Keep us informed and we are glad that you have somewhere to go and someone to hang with.

Dude speaking of boobies, you will likely see a lot in Byron Bay.(kinda like Bondi but also a nudie beach on the other side too!) Very cool place. was going to hang glide there but was too cheap to spend the money. this is also the place where Nimbin is near by. Recall when I was there.....Nimbin the place you and my sis were disappointed i didnt go and partake in the fun. Byron has plenty to offer but is small. You will like or just get bored. Lots of fruit picking near by and also ......keep in mind Lennox Head. One of my fave hostels run by Graham is in Lennox Head. Best Chocolate cake ever and even stated in the Lonely Planet. anyhow i dont know your island stories but take what comes and find the next adventure. I wish i was as smart as you in figuring out i wanted to stay and get perm. residency sooner rather than as late as i did. i have stories for you and where im heading(and delay of my trip maybe or change of plans) so will have to try and chat. email me your mobile number and i will call to chat. would love to catch up.
Miss you lots and hope to hear more about what you decide to do!!!! My twangs of missing aus just came rushing back as ive been shutting them out recently. But so glad you are there and taking it on. Best thing i ever did and sounds like it is good for you too! Glad it works for someone else too. doesnt make me feel so foreign.
